Wi-Fi QR Code Generator
A Wi-Fi QR code encodes your network name, security type, and password in a standard WIFI: payload that both iOS and Android cameras recognise. Scanning it prompts the phone to join the network, which removes the ritual of reading a 20-character password off a chalkboard.
This is the right tool for a café, salon, Airbnb, waiting room, or office guest network. The code is generated in your browser and the password is never sent to a server — but remember the password is readable by anyone who scans the printed code, so use it for a guest network rather than your main one.

Troubleshooting scan failures
Phone scans but does not join
Nine times out of ten the SSID case or a trailing space is wrong. Copy it from the router page rather than typing it.
Works on Android, fails on iPhone
Check the security type. Selecting WPA for an open network, or vice versa, breaks the join on stricter platforms.
Guest network changes password monthly
Point the code at a hosted page you update, or reprint on the same schedule as the rotation.
Special characters in the password fail
Semicolons, colons, commas and backslashes must be escaped in the payload. Avoid them in guest passwords where you can.
