Free QR Code Generator
Most so-called free QR code generators attach a string. Some watermark the download, some expire the code after 30 to 90 days, and some deactivate it the moment you stop paying. A printed code that stops working is worse than no code at all.
The codes on this page are static: the destination is encoded directly into the pattern, generated in your browser, and there is no server in the middle that can switch off. Download it, print it, and it keeps scanning for as long as the destination exists.

Troubleshooting scan failures
The code will not scan from a distance
Either the printed size is too small or the URL is too long. Aim for one tenth of scan distance and shorten the link.
Scanning works on paper but not on screen
Screen glare and low brightness are common culprits. Raise brightness and avoid displaying the code on a dark background.
Camera opens the wrong page
Check for a missing https:// prefix or a trailing space in the URL before generating.
You need to change the destination after printing
A static code cannot be repointed. Use a dynamic QR code, where the short URL stays fixed and the target is editable.
