Static codes never expire and carry no watermark. Highest error-correction level (H) is always used so codes stay readable. Vector SVG, custom colours, transparent backgrounds and centre logos are included with Pro.

QR Code Generator With Logo

A branded QR code earns noticeably more scans than a plain one, because people trust a mark they recognise more than an anonymous black square. Logo placement works because QR codes carry Reed-Solomon error correction: a portion of the pattern can be obscured and readers still reconstruct the data.

This tool renders your code at the highest error-correction level and centres your logo over a clear knock-out area. Keep the mark under roughly 25% of the code's width and always test-scan with two different phones before you send anything to print.

How to make a QR code generator with logo

  1. 1

Enter the destination URL first and confirm the plain code scans.

  2. 2

Switch error correction to H so the pattern can survive the logo overlay.

  3. 3

Upload a square logo with a transparent background.

  4. 4

Keep the logo under a quarter of the code width and leave the three corner finder patterns fully visible.

  5. 5

Test-scan with at least two phones at the distance your audience will use.

Troubleshooting scan failures

Code stopped scanning after adding the logo

The logo is too large or covers a finder pattern. Shrink it and keep it centred.

Logo looks blurry in print

Use an SVG logo and export the code as SVG. Raster logos scaled up will always soften.

Brand colours make the code unreliable

Keep the pattern dark and the background light. Pale patterns on white are the most common cause of branded-code failures.

Some phones scan and others do not

That is the warning sign of a marginal code. Reduce logo size, raise contrast, or increase printed size.

Need hundreds of codes at once?
